• Lead mechanical design projects from concept through to production release, applying Design for Manufacturability

   (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.

• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, General Assembly (GA) drawings, manufacturing drawings, and detailed

   Bills of Materials (BOMs) using Autodesk Inventor.

• Administer and maintain (PDM) systems to ensure high-quality, accurate design documentation.

• Build and test prototypes using various tools and suppliers, oversee testing for product performance, system

   integration, and compliance with standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams in the UK, US, France, and China to support product

   development, optimise manufacturability, cost efficiency, and resolve technical challenges.

• Conduct international tooling audits and manage engineering moulds, fixtures, and peripheral equipment, establishing

   a centralised inventory of specifications and material data.

• Mentor junior engineers, supervise external contractors, and ensure that design intent is fully maintained throughout

   the development process.

• Manage engineering change processes, including Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Change Notes (CN), to

   implement controlled updates to design documentation.

• Assess and enhance designs for cost-effectiveness, quality, and consumer value, while supporting product

   commercialisation, launch activities, and process improvements.
